Program Overview

Comprehensive curriculum designed for middle school students

Program Objectives

  • Master practical money skills including budgeting, investing, credit, and taxes
  • Start and run a real micro-business from idea to first sales
  • Learn marketing, pricing, customer service, and basic data tracking
  • Build confidence and develop long-term financial habits

What Students Receive

  • $100 gift deposited into a parent-controlled custodial brokerage account
  • Hands-on experience launching a real business (online store, local service, or custom products)
  • Small participation incentives ($5–$25 per session in digital gift cards)
  • Real-world experience making investment decisions with actual money

Program Details

  • Duration: 6 to 12 weeks, meeting Tuesdays & Thursdays after school
  • Cohort Size: 10–20 seventh and eighth grade students
  • Cost: Completely free for families – WeYounite covers all expenses
  • Goal: Students finish with $500–$1,000 in their brokerage account
